Each year, we support more than 30, people through community services in metropolitan and regional South Australia, operating within a strong ethical framework informed by the values and principles of Catholic Social Teaching. Support is provided regardless of race, economic circumstance, sexual orientation, gender identity, religious belief or ethnic background. Our vision is to provide safe and nurturing homes for families, children and young people in community. We work with families to identify and harness strengths, address challenges and build confidence. We can support you to bring your NDIS plan to life. We offer a range of disability and psychosocial supports, and will work with you to map your NDIS journey and achieve your goals. We support women and children to reclaim and maintain their fundamental human right to safety. Centacare provides accommodation, outreach services, case management, counselling and other crisis support to people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness due to domestic and family violence. Centacare provides a variety of services to help individuals and families who are seeking support with drug and alcohol use, mental health and illness, and to maintain connection to learning and employment. With funding from both the Federal and Queensland governments, we are able to provide quality services to those in need of a range of services including childcare, support services for the aged and people with a disability as well as relationship education, counselling and support. We are grateful to our army of volunteers and donors who enable our non-government funded work in prisons, hospitals, psychiatric pastoral care and Indigenous communities.
